1. ఐగుప్తులోనికి యాకోబుతో వచ్చిన ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పేరులు ఏవనగా, రూబేను షిమ్యోను లేవి యూదా ఇశ్శాఖారు జెబూలూను బెన్యామీను.

1. Now these are the names of the children of Israel who came into Egypt; every man and his household came with Jacob:

2. దాను నఫ్తాలి గాదు ఆషేరు.

2. Reuben, Simeon, Levi and Judah,

3. వీరిలో ప్రతివాడును తన తన కుటుంబముతో వచ్చెను.

3. Issachar, Zebulun and Benjamin,

4. యాకోబు గర్భమున పుట్టినవారందరు డెబ్బదిమంది.

4. Dan and Naphtali, Gad and Asher.

5. అప్పటికి యోసేపు ఐగుప్తులో ఉండెను.

5. And all the souls who came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls, for Joseph was in Egypt already.

7. And the children of Israel were fruitful and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.

8. అప్పుడు యోసేపును ఎరుగని క్రొత్తరాజు ఐగు ప్తును ఏల నారంభించెను.

8. Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, who knew not Joseph.

9. అతడు తన జనులతో ఇట్లనెను ఇదిగో ఇశ్రాయేలు సంతతియైన యీ జనము మనకంటె విస్తారముగాను బలిష్ఠముగాను ఉన్నది.

9. And he said unto his people, "Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we.

10. వారు విస్తరింప కుండునట్లు మనము వారియెడల యుక్తిగా జరిగించుదము రండి; లేనియెడల యుద్ధము కలుగునప్పుడుకూడ మన శత్రువులతో చేరి మనకు విరోధముగా యుద్ధముచేసి యీ దేశములోనుండి, వెళ్లిపోదురేమో అనెను.

10. Come on, let us deal wisely with them, lest they multiply and it come to pass, when there befalleth any war, that they join also unto our enemies and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land."

11. కాబట్టి వారిమీద పెట్టిన భారములలో వారిని శ్రమపెట్టుటకు వెట్టి పనులు చేయించు అధికారులను వారిమీద నియ మింపగా వారు ఫరోకొరకు ధాన్యాదులను నిలువచేయు పీతోము రామెసేసను పట్టణములను కట్టిరి.

11. Therefore they set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses.

12. అయినను ఐగుప్తీయులు వారిని శ్రమపెట్టినకొలది వారు విస్తరించి ప్రబలిరి గనుక వారు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల యెడల అసహ్య పడిరి.

12. But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew; and they were grieved because of the children of Israel.

13. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులచేత ఐగుప్తీయులు కఠినముగా సేవ చేయించుకొనిరి;

13. And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigor.

14. వారు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులచేత చేయించుకొనిన ప్రతి పనియు కఠినముగా ఉండెను. వారు జిగటమంటి పనిలోను, ఇటుకల పనిలోను, పొలములో చేయు ప్రతిపనిలోను కఠినసేవ చేయించి వారి ప్రాణములను విసికించిరి.

14. And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in mortar and in brick and in all manner of service in the field; all their service wherein they made them serve was with rigor.

15. మరియు ఐగుప్తురాజు షిఫ్రా పూయా అను హెబ్రీ యుల మంత్రసానులతో మాటలాడి

15. And the king of Egypt spoke to the Hebrew midwives, of whom the name of one was Shiphrah, and the name of the other Puah.

16. మీరు హెబ్రీ స్త్రీలకు మంత్రసానిపని చేయుచు వారిని కాన్పుపీటల మీద చూచినప్పుడు మగవాడైనయెడల వాని చంపుడి, ఆడుదైనయెడల దాని బ్రదుకనియ్యుడని వారితో చెప్పెను.

16. And he said, "When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women and see them upon the birthstools, if it be a son then ye shall kill him; but if it be a daughter then she shall live."

17. అయితే ఆ మంత్రసానులు దేవునికి భయపడి, ఐగుప్తురాజు తమ కాజ్ఞాపించినట్లు చేయక మగపిల్లలను బ్రదుకనియ్యగా

17. But the midwives feared God, and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive.

18. ఐగుప్తురాజు ఆ మంత్ర సానులను పిలి పించిమీరెందుకు మగపిల్లలను బ్రదుకనిచ్చితిరి? ఈ పని యేల చేసితిరి అని అడిగెను.

18. And the king of Egypt called for the midwives and said unto them, "Why have ye done this thing, and have saved the men children alive?"

19. అందుకు ఆ మంత్ర సానులుహెబ్రీ స్త్రీలు ఐగుప్తు స్త్రీలవంటివారు కారు; వారు చురుకైనవారు. మంత్రసాని వారియొద్దకు వెళ్లక మునుపే వారు ప్రసవించి యుందురని ఫరోతో చెప్పిరి.

19. And the midwives said unto Pharaoh, "Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwives come in unto them."

20. దేవుడుreference ఆ మంత్ర సానులకు మేలుచేసెను. ఆ జనము విస్తరించి మిక్కిలి ప్రబలెను.

20. Therefore God dealt well with the midwives, and the people multiplied and waxed very mighty.

21. ఆ మంత్రసానులు దేవునికి భయపడినందున ఆయన వారికి వంశాభివృద్ధి కలుగజేసెను.

21. And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that He made them houses.

22. అయితే ఫరోహెబ్రీయులలో పుట్టిన ప్రతి కుమారుని నదిలో పారవేయుడి, ప్రతి కుమార్తెను బ్రదుకనియ్యుడి అని తన జనులందరికి ఆజ్ఞాపించెను.

22. And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, "Every son who is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive."

నిర్గామకాండము 2

1. లేవి వంశస్థుడొకడు వెళ్లి లేవి కుమార్తెను వివాహము చేసికొనెను.

1. And there went a man of the house of Levi, and took for a wife a daughter of Levi.

2. ఆ స్త్రీ గర్భవతియై కుమారుని కని, వాడు సుందరుడై యుండుట చూచి మూడునెలలు వానిని దాచెను.

2. And the woman conceived and bore a son; and when she saw that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months.

3. తరువాత ఆమె వాని దాచలేక వాని కొరకు ఒక జమ్ముపెట్టె తీసికొని, దానికి జిగటమన్నును కీలును పూసి, అందులో ఆ పిల్లవానిని పెట్టియేటియొడ్డున జమ్ములో దానిని ఉంచగా,

3. And when she could no longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the reeds by the river's brink.

4. వానికేమి సంభవించునో తెలిసికొనుటకు వాని అక్క దూరముగా నిలిచియుండెను.

4. And his sister stood afar off to learn what would be done to him.

5. ఫరో కుమార్తె స్నానము చేయుటకు ఏటికి వచ్చెను. ఆమె పనికత్తెలు ఏటియొడ్డున నడుచుచుండగా ఆమె నాచులోని ఆ పెట్టెను చూచి, తన పనికత్తె నొకతెను పంపి దాని తెప్పించి

5. And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash herself at the river, and her maidens walked along by the riverside; and when she saw the ark among the reeds, she sent her maid to fetch it.

6. తెరచి ఆ పిల్లవాని చూచినప్పుడు ఆ పిల్లవాడు ఏడ్చుచుండగా చూచి వానియందు కనికరించి వీడు హెబ్రీయుల పిల్లలలో నొకడనెను.

6. And when she had opened it, she saw the child; and behold, the babe wept. And she had compassion on him and said, "This is one of the Hebrews' children."

7. అప్పుడు వాని అక్క ఫరో కుమార్తెతో నీకొరకు ఈ పిల్లవాని పెంచుటకు నేను వెళ్లి హెబ్రీ స్త్రీలలో ఒక దాదిని పిలుచుకొని వత్తునా అనెను.

7. Then said his sister to Pharaoh's daughter, "Shall I go and call to thee a nurse of the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for thee?"

8. అందుకు ఫరో కుమార్తెవెళ్లుమని చెప్పగా ఆ చిన్నది వెళ్లి ఆ బిడ్డ తల్లిని పిలుచుకొని వచ్చెను.

8. And Pharaoh's daughter said to her, "Go." And the maid went and called the child's mother.

9. ఫరో కుమార్తె ఆమెతోఈ బిడ్డను తీసికొని పోయి నాకొరకు వానికి పాలిచ్చి పెంచుము, నేను నీకు జీతమిచ్చెదనని చెప్పగా, ఆ స్త్రీ ఆ బిడ్డను తీసికొని పోయి పాలిచ్చి పెంచెను.

9. And Pharaoh's daughter said unto her, "Take this child away and nurse it for me, and I will give thee thy wages." And the woman took the child, and nursed it.

10. ఆ బిడ్డ పెద్దవాడైన తరువాత ఆమె ఫరో కుమార్తె యొద్దకు అతని తీసికొని వచ్చెను, అతడు ఆమెకు కుమారుడాయెను. ఆమెనీటిలోనుండి ఇతని తీసితినని చెప్పి అతనికి మోషే అను పేరు పెట్టెను.

10. And the child grew, and she brought him unto Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. And she called his name Moses [that is, Drawn out], and she said, "Because I drew him out of the water."

11. ఆ దినములలో మోషే పెద్దవాడై తన జనులయొద్దకు పోయి వారి భారములను చూచెను. అప్పుడతడు తన జనులలో ఒక హెబ్రీయుని ఒక ఐగుప్తీయుడు కొట్టగా చూచెను.

11. And it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out unto his brethren and looked on their burdens; and he spied an Egyptian smiting a Hebrew, one of his brethren.

12. అతడు ఇటు అటు తిరిగి చూచి యెవడును లేకపోగా ఆ ఐగుప్తీయుని చంపి యిసుకలో వాని కప్పి పెట్టెను.

12. And he looked this way and that way, and when he saw that there was no man, he slew the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.

13. And when he went out the second day, behold, two men of the Hebrews strove together; and he said to him that did the wrong, "Why smitest thou thy fellow?"

14. అప్పు డతడు అన్యాయము చేసినవాని చూచినీ వేల నీ పొరుగు వాని కొట్టుచున్నావని అడుగగా అతడుమామీద నిన్ను అధికారినిగాను తీర్పరినిగాను నియమించినవాడె వడు? నీవు ఆ ఐగుప్తీయుని చంపినట్ల

14. And he said, "Who made thee a prince and a judge over us? Intendest thou to kill me as thou killed the Egyptian?" And Moses feared and said, "Surely this thing is known."

15. ఫరో ఆ సంగతి విని మోషేను చంప చూచెనుగాని, మోషే ఫరో యెదుటనుండి పారిపోయి మిద్యాను దేశములో నిలిచిపోయి యొక బావియొద్ద కూర్చుండెను.

15. Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of Midian; and he sat down by a well.

16. మిద్యాను యాజకునికి ఏడుగురు కుమార్తెలుండిరి. వారు వచ్చి తమ తండ్రి మందకు పెట్టుటకు నీళ్లు చేది తొట్లను నింపుచుండగా

16. Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters; and they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father's flock.

17. మందకాపరులు వచ్చి వారిని తోలివేసిరి. అప్పుడు మోషే లేచి వారికి సహాయము చేసి మందకు నీళ్లు పెట్టెను.

17. And the shepherds came and drove them away; but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their flock.

18. వారు తమ తండ్రియైన రగూయేలు నొద్దకు వచ్చినప్పుడు అతడు నేడు మీ రింత త్వరగా ఎట్లు వచ్చితిరనెను.

18. And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, "How is it that ye have come so soon today?"

19. అందుకు వారుఐగుప్తీయుడొకడు మందకాపరుల చేతిలోనుండి మమ్మును తప్పించి వడిగా నీళ్లు చేది మన మందకు పెట్టెననగా

19. And they said, "An Egyptian delivered us out of the hand of the shepherds, and also drew water enough for us and watered the flock."

20. అతడు తన కుమార్తెలతొ అతడెక్కడ? ఆ మనుష్యుని ఏల విడిచి వచ్చితిరి? భోజనమునకు అతని పిలుచుకొని రండనెను.

20. And he said unto his daughters, "And where is he? Why is it that ye have left the man? Call him, that he may eat bread."

21. మోషేఆ మనుష్యునితో నివసించుటకు సమ్మతించెను. అతడు తన కుమార్తెయైన సిప్పోరాను మోషే కిచ్చెను.

21. And Moses was content to dwell with the man; and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter.

22. ఆమె ఒక కుమారుని కనినప్పుడు మోషేనేను అన్య దేశములో పర దేశినై యుంటిననుకొని వానికి గెర్షోము అనుపేరు పెట్టెను.

22. And she bore him a son, and he called his name Gershom [that is, A stranger there]; for he said, "I have been a stranger in a strange land."

23. ఆలాగున అనేక దినములు జరిగినమీదట ఐగుప్తు రాజు చనిపోయెను. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు తాము చేయు చున్న వెట్టి పనులనుబట్టి నిట్టూర్పులు విడుచుచు మొరపెట్టు చుండగా, తమ వెట్టి పనులనుబట్టి వారుపెట్టిన మొర దేవునియొద్దకు చేరెను.

23. And it came to pass in process of time that the king of Egypt died. And the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried; and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage.

24. కాగా దేవుడుreference వారి మూలుగును విని, అబ్రాహాము ఇస్సాకు యాకోబులతో తాను చేసిన నిబంధనను జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనెను.

24. And God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.

25. And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God took heed of them.

నిర్గామకాండము 3

1. మోషే మిద్యాను యాజకుడైన యిత్రో అను తన మామ మందను మేపుచు, ఆ మందను అరణ్యము అవతలకు తోలుకొని దేవుని పర్వతమైన హోరేబుకు వచ్చెను.

1. Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian; and he led the flock to the back side of the desert and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.

2. ఒక పొద నడిమిని అగ్నిజ్వాలలో యెహోవా దూత అతనికి ప్రత్యక్షమాయెను. అతడు చూచినప్పుడు అగ్ని వలన ఆ పొద మండుచుండెను. గాని పొద కాలిపోలేదు.

2. And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush; and he looked and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

3. And Moses said, "I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt."

4. దానిని చూచుటకు అతడు ఆ తట్టు వచ్చుట యెహోవా చూచెను. దేవుడుreference ఆ పొద నడుమనుండిమోషే మోషే అని అతనిని పిలిచెను. అందుకతడుచిత్తము ప్రభువా అనెను.

4. And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush and said, "Moses, Moses." And he said, "Here am I."

5. అందుకాయనదగ్గరకు రావద్దు, నీ పాదముల నుండి నీ చెప్పులు విడువుము, నీవు నిలిచియున్న స్థలము పరిశుద్ధ ప్రదేశము అనెను.

5. And He said, "Draw not nigh hither. Put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground."

6. Moreover He said, "I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob." And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God.

7. మరియు యెహోవా యిట్లనెనునేను ఐగుప్తులోనున్న నా ప్రజల బాధను నిశ్చయముగా చూచితిని, పనులలో తమ్మును కష్టపెట్టువారినిబట్టి వారు పెట్టిన మొరను వింటిని, వారి దుఃఖములు నాకు తెలిసే యున్నవి.

7. And the LORD said, "I have surely seen the affliction of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.

8. కాబట్టి ఐగుప్తీయుల చేతిలోనుండి వారిని విడిపించుటకును, ఆ దేశములోనుండి విశాలమైన మంచి దేశమునకు, అనగా కనానీయులకు హిత్తీయులకు అమోరీయులకు పెరిజ్జీయు లకు హివ్వీయులకు యెబూసీయులకు నివాసస్థానమై, పాలు తేనెలు ప్రవహించు దేశమునకు వారిని నడిపించు టకును దిగివచ్చి యున్నాను.

8. And I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey, unto the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites, and the Amorites and the Perizzites, and the Hivites and the Jebusites.

9. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మొర నిజముగా నాయొద్దకు చేరినది, ఐగుప్తీయులు వారినిపెట్టు చున్న హింస చూచితిని.

9. Now therefore behold, the cry of the children of Israel hath come unto Me, and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.

10. కాగా రమ్ము, నిన్ను ఫరోయొద్దకు పంపెదను; ఇశ్రాయేలీయులైన నా ప్రజలను నీవు ఐగుప్తులోనుండి తోడుకొని పోవలెననెను.

10. Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt."

11. అందుకు మోషేనేను ఫరో యొద్దకు వెళ్లుటకును, ఇశ్రాయేలీయు లను ఐగుప్తు లోనుండి తోడుకొని పోవుటకును ఎంతటివాడ నని దేవునితో అనగా

11. And Moses said unto God, "Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?"

12. ఆయననిశ్చయముగా నేను నీకు తోడై యుందును, నేను నిన్ను పంపితిననుటకు ఇది నీకు సూచన; నీవు ఆ ప్రజలను ఐగుప్తులోనుండి తోడు కొని వచ్చిన తరువాత మీరు ఈ పర్వతముమీద దేవుని సేవించెదరనెను.

12. And He said, "Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee that I have sent thee: when thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain."

13. మోషేచిత్తగించుము; నేను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులయొద్దకు వెళ్లి వారిని చూచిమీ పితరుల దేవుడుreference మీ యొద్దకు నన్ను పంపెనని వారితో చెప్పగా వారుఆయన పేరేమి అని అడిగిన యెడల వారితో నే నేమి చెప్పవలెనని దేవుని నడిగెను.

13. And Moses said unto God, "Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel and shall say unto them, `The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you,' and they shall say to me, `What is His name?' what shall I say unto them?"

14. అందుకు దేవుడుreferenceనేను ఉన్నవాడను అను వాడనైయున్నానని మోషేతో చెప్పెను. మరియు ఆయనఉండుననువాడు మీయొద్దకు నన్ను పంపెనని నీవు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో చెప్పవలెననెను.

14. And God said unto Moses, "I AM THAT I AM." And He said, "Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, `I AM hath sent me unto you.'"

15. మరియు దేవుడుreference మోషేతో నిట్లనెనుమీ పితరుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా, అనగా అబ్రాహాము దేవుడుreference ఇస్సాకు దేవుడుreference యాకోబు దేవుడుreference నైన యెహోవా మీ యొద్దకు నన్ను పంపెనని నీవు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో చెప్పవలెను. నిరంతరము నా నామము ఇదే, తరతరములకు ఇది నా జ్ఞాపకార్థక నామము.

15. And God said moreover unto Moses, "Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel: `The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob hath sent me unto you.' This is My name for ever, and this is My memorial unto all generations.

16. Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, `The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob appeared unto me, saying, "I have surely visited you and seen that which is done to you in Egypt;

17. and I have said I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites and the Hittites, and the Amorites and the Perizzites, and the Hivites and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey."'

And they shall hearken to thy voice; and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, `The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us; and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.'

19. ఐగుప్తు రాజు మహాబలముతో మీ మీదికి వచ్చి మిమ్ము పోనియ్యడని నేనెరుగుదును;

19. And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand.

1. And Moses answered and said, "But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice; for they will say, `The LORD hath not appeared unto thee.'"

2. And the LORD said unto him, "What is that in thine hand?" And he said, "A rod."

3. And He said, "Cast it on the ground." And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.

9. And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of the water of the river and pour it upon the dry land; and the water which thou takest out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land."

10. And Moses said unto the LORD, "O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore nor since Thou hast spoken unto Thy servant; but I am slow of speech and of a slow tongue."

11. And the LORD said unto him, "Who hath made man's mouth? Or who maketh the dumb or deaf, or the seeing or the blind? Have notI, the LORD?

12. కాబట్టి వెళ్లుము, నేను నీ నోటికి తోడైయుండి, నీవు ఏమి పలుకవలసినది నీకు బోధించెదనని అతనితో చెప్పెను.

12. Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth and teach thee what thou shalt say."

13. And he said, "O my Lord, send, I pray Thee, by the hand of him whom Thou wilt send."

18. And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father-in-law, and said unto him, "Let me go, I pray thee, and return unto my brethren who are in Egypt and see whether they are yet alive." And Jethro said to Moses, "Go in peace."

26. So He let him go; then she said, "A bloody husband thou art, because of the circumcision."

29. And Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel.

30. యెహోవా మోషేతో చెప్పిన మాటలన్నియు అహరోను వివరించి, జనులయెదుట ఆ సూచక క్రియలను చేయగా జనులు నమ్మిరి.

30. And Aaron spoke all the words which the LORD had spoken unto Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people.

31. మరియుయెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను చూడవచ్చి తమ బాధను కనిపెట్టెనను మాట జనులు విని తలవంచుకొని నమస్కారము చేసిరి.

31. And the people believed; and when they heard that the LORD had visited the children of Israel, and that He had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshiped.

నిర్గామకాండము 5

1. తరువాత మోషే అహరోనులు వచ్చి ఫరోనుచూచిఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా అరణ్యములో నాకు ఉత్సవము చేయుటకు నా జనమును పోనిమ్మని ఆజ్ఞాపించుచున్నాడనిరి.

1. And afterward Moses and Aaron went in and told Pharaoh, "Thus saith the LORD God of Israel: `Let My people go, that they may hold a feast unto Me in the wilderness.'"

2. ఫరోనేను అతని మాట విని ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను పోనిచ్చుటకు యెహోవా ఎవడు? నేను యెహోవాను ఎరుగను, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను పోనీయ ననెను.

2. And Pharaoh said, "Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go."

3. And they said, "The God of the Hebrews hath met with us. Let us go, we pray thee, three days' journey into the desert and sacrifice unto the LORD our God, lest He fall upon us with pestilence or with the sword."

4. అందుకు ఐగుప్తు రాజుమోషే అహరోనూ, ఈ జనులు తమ పనులను చేయకుండ మీరేల ఆపు చున్నారు? మీ బరువులు మోయుటకు పొండనెను.

4. And the king of Egypt said unto them, "Why do ye, Moses and Aaron, delay the people from their work? Get you unto your burdens!"

5. And Pharaoh said, "Behold, the people of the land now are many, and ye make them rest from their burdens!"

6. And Pharaoh commanded the same day the taskmasters of the people and their officers, saying,

7. "Ye shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore. Let them go and gather straw for themselves.

8. అయినను వారు ఇదివరకు చేసిన యిటుకల లెక్కనే వారి మీద మోపవలెను, దానిలో ఏమాత్రమును తక్కువ చేయవద్దు; వారు సోమరులు గనుకమేము వెళ్లి మా దేవునికి బలి నర్పించుటకు

8. And the tally of bricks which they made heretofore, ye shall lay upon them; ye shall not diminish any thereof. For they are idle; therefore they cry, saying, `Let us go and sacrifice to our God.'

9. ఆ మనుష్యులచేత ఎక్కువ పని చేయింపవలెను, దానిలో వారు కష్టపడవలెను, అబద్ధపుమాటలను వారు లక్ష్యపెట్టకూడదనెను.

9. Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labor therein, and let them not regard vain words."

10. And the taskmasters of the people went out, and their officers, and they spoke to the people, saying, "Thus saith Pharaoh: `I will not give you straw.

11. Go ye, get you straw where ye can find it; yet not any of your work shall be diminished.'"

12. So the people were scattered abroad throughout all the land of Egypt to gather stubble instead of straw.

13. And the taskmasters hastened them, saying, "Fulfill your works, your daily tasks, as when there was straw."

14. And the officers of the children of Israel, whom Pharaoh's taskmasters had set over them, were beaten and were demanded, "Why have ye not fulfilled your task in making brick both yesterday and today, as heretofore?"

15. Then the officers of the children of Israel came and cried unto Pharaoh, saying, "Why dealest thou thus with thy servants?

16. తమ దాసులకు గడ్డినియ్యరు అయితే ఇటుకలు చేయుడని మాతో చెప్పుచున్నారు; చిత్తగించుము, వారు తమరి దాసులను కొట్టుచున్నారు; అయితే తప్పిదము తమరి ప్రజలయందే యున్నదని మొఱపెట్టిరి.

16. There is no straw given unto thy servants, and they say to us, `Make brick!' And behold, thy servants are beaten, but the fault is in thine own people."

17. అందుకతడుమీరు సోమరులు మీరు సోమరులు అందుచేత మేము వెళ్లి యెహోవాకు బలినర్పించుటకు సెలవిమ్మని మీరడుగు చున్నారు.

17. But he said, "Ye are idle, ye are idle! Therefore ye say, `Let us go and do sacrifice to the LORD.'

18. మీరు పొండి, పనిచేయుడి, గడ్డి మీకియ్య బడదు, అయితే ఇటుకల లెక్క మీరప్పగింపక తప్పదని చెప్పెను.

18. Go therefore now and work; for there shall no straw be given you, yet shall ye deliver the tally of bricks."

19. మీ ఇటుకల లెక్కలో నేమాత్రమును తక్కువ చేయవద్దు, ఏనాటి పని ఆనాడే చేయవలెనని రాజు సెలవియ్యగా, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల నాయకులు తాము దురవస్థలో పడియున్నట్లు తెలిసికొనిరి.

19. And the officers of the children of Israel saw that they were in evil straits after it was said, "Ye shall not diminish any from your bricks of your daily task."

20. వారు ఫరో యొద్దనుండి బయలుదేరి వచ్చుచు, తమ్మును ఎదుర్కొను టకు దారిలో నిలిచియున్న మోషే అహరోనులను కలిసికొని

20. And they met Moses and Aaron, who stood in the way as they came forth from Pharaoh.

21. యెహోవా మిమ్ము చూచి న్యాయము తీర్చును గాక; ఫరో యెదుటను అతని దాసుల యెదుటను మమ్మును అసహ్యులనుగా చేసి మమ్ము చంపుటకై వారిచేతికి ఖడ్గ మిచ్చితిరని వారితో అనగా

21. And they said unto them, "The LORD look upon you and judge, because ye have made our savor to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us."

22. మోషే యెహోవా యొద్దకు తిరిగి వెళ్లిప్రభువా, నీవేల ఈ ప్రజలకు కీడు చేసితివి? నన్నేల పంపితివి?

22. And Moses returned unto the LORD and said, "Lord, why hast Thou so evilly treated this people? Why is it that Thou hast sent me?

3. And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob by the name of God Almighty, but by My name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.

5. And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered My covenant.

6. కాబట్టి నీవు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో ఈలాగు చెప్పుమునేనే యెహోవాను; నేను ఐగుప్తీయులు మోయించు బరువుల క్రింద నుండి మిమ్మును వెలుపలికి రప్పించి, వారి దాసత్వములో నుండి మిమ్మును విడిపించి, నా బాహువు చాపి గొప్ప తీర్పులుతీర్చి మిమ్మును విడిపించి,

6. Therefore say unto the children of Israel: `I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.

7. And I will take you to Me for a people, and I will be to you a God; and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God, who bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

8. నేను అబ్రాహాము ఇస్సాకు యాకోబులకు ఇచ్చెదనని చెయ్యి యెత్తి ప్రమాణముచేసిన దేశము లోనికి మిమ్మును రప్పించి దాని మీకు స్వాస్థ్యముగా ఇచ్చెదను; నేను యెహోవానని చెప్పుమనగా

8. And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning which I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it to you for a heritage: I am the LORD.'"

9. మోషే ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో ఆలాగు చెప్పెను. అయితే వారు మనోవ్యాకులమునుబట్టియు కఠిన దాసత్వమును బట్టియు మోషే మాట వినరైరి.

9. And Moses spoke so unto the children of Israel, but they hearkened not unto Moses from anguish of spirit and from cruel bondage.

10. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేతోనీవు లోపలికి వెళ్లి,

10. And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

11. ఐగుప్తురాజైన ఫరోతోఇశ్రాయేలీయులను తన దేశములోనుండి వెలుపలికి పోనియ్యవలెనని అతనితో చెప్పుమనెను.

11. "Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land."

12. అప్పుడు మోషేచిత్తగించుము, ఇశ్రా యేలీయులే నా మాట వినలేదు; మాటమాంద్యము గలవాడ నగు నా మాట ఫరో యెట్లు వినునని యెహోవా సన్నిధిని పలికెను.

12. And Moses spoke before the LORD, saying, "Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me. How then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips?"

13. మరియు యెహోవా మోషే అహరోనులతో నిట్లనెను ఇశ్రా యేలీయులను ఐగుప్తు దేశములోనుండి తాము వెలుపలికి రప్పించుటకై ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల యొద్ద కును ఫరో యొద్దకును వెళ్లవలెనని వారి కాజ్ఞాపించెను.

13. And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.

14. వారి పితరుల కుటుంబముల మూలపురుషులు ఎవరనగా, ఇశ్రాయేలు జ్యేష్ఠ కుమారుడైన రూబేను కుమారులుహనోకు పల్లు హెస్రోను కర్మీ; వీరు రూబేను కుటుంబములు.

14. These are the heads of their fathers' houses. The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel: Hanoch and Pallu, Hezron and Carmi; these are the families of Reuben.

15. షిమ్యోను కుమారులు యెమూయేలు యామీను ఓహదు యాకీను సోహరు కనాను స్త్రీకి కుమారుడైన షావూలు; వీరు షిమ్యోను కుటుంబములు.

15. And the sons of Simeon: Jemuel and Jamin, and Ohad and Jachin and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanite woman; these are the families of Simeon.

16. లేవి కుమారుల పేరులు వారి వారి వంశావళుల చొప్పున ఏవేవనగా, గెర్షోను కహాతు మెరారి. లేవి నూట ముప్పది యేడేండ్లు బ్రదికెను.

16. And these are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations: Gershon and Kohath and Merari; and the years of the life of Levi were a hundred thirty and seven years.

17. గెర్షోను కుమారులు వారి వారి వంశావళుల చొప్పున లిబ్నీ షిమీ.

17. The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimi, according to their families.

18. కహాతు కుమారులు అమ్రాము ఇస్హారు హెబ్రోను ఉజ్జీయేలు. కహాతు నూట ముప్పది మూడేండ్లు బ్రదికెను.

18. And the sons of Kohath: Amram and Izhar, and Hebron and Uzziel; and the years of the life of Kohath were a hundred thirty and three years.

19. మెరారి కుమారులు మహలి మూషి; వీరు తమ తమ వంశావళుల చొప్పున లేవి కుటుంబములు.

19. And the sons of Merari: Mahali and Mushi; these are the families of Levi according to their generations.

20. అమ్రాము తన మేనత్తయైన యోకెబెదును పెండ్లి చేసికొనెను; ఆమె అతనికి అహరోనును మోషేను కనెను. అమ్రాము నూట ముప్పది యేడేండ్లు బ్రదికెను.

20. And Amram took Jochebed, his father's sister, for a wife; and she bore him Aaron and Moses; and the years of the life of Amram were a hundred and thirty and seven years.

21. And the sons of Izhar: Korah and Nepheg and Zichri.

22. ఉజ్జీయేలు కుమారులు మిషాయేలు ఎల్సాఫాను సిత్రీ.

22. And the sons of Uzziel: Mishael and Elzaphan and Zithri.

23. అహరోను అమీ్మనాదాబు కుమార్తెయు నయస్సోను సహో దరియునైన ఎలీషెబను పెండ్లిచేసి కొనెను. ఆమె అతనికి నాదాబును అబీహును ఎలియాజరును ఈతామారును కనెను.

23. And Aaron took Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Nahshon, for a wife; and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

24. కోరహు కుమారులు అస్సీరు ఎల్కానా అబీయా సాపు; వీరు కోరహీయుల కుటుంబములు.

24. And the sons of Korah: Assir and Elkanah and Abiasaph; these are the families of the Korahites.

25. And Eleazar, Aaron's son, took one of the daughters of Putiel for a wife; and she bore him Phinehas; these are the heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families.

26. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను వారి సేనల చొప్పున ఐగుప్తుదేశములోనుండి వెలుపలికి రప్పించుడని యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞాపించిన అహరోను మోషేలు వీరు.

26. These are that Aaron and Moses to whom the LORD said, "Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies."

27. ఇశ్రాయేలీయలను ఐగుప్తులోనుండి వెలుపలికి రప్పించ వలెనని ఐగుప్తు రాజైన ఫరోతో మాటలాడిన వారు వీరు; ఆ మోషే అహరోనులు వీరే.

27. These are they who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt. These are that Moses and Aaron.

28. ఐగుప్తుదేశములో యెహోవా మోషేతో మాటలాడిన దినమున

28. And it came to pass on the day when the LORD spoke unto Moses in the land of Egypt,

29. యెహోవానేను యెహోవాను; నేను నీతో చెప్పునది యావత్తు నీవు ఐగుప్తు రాజైన ఫరోతో పలుకుమని మోషేతో చెప్పగా

29. that the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying, "I am the LORD. Speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee."

30. మోషేచిత్తగించుము; నేను మాట మాంద్యము గలవాడను, ఫరో నా మాట యెట్లు వినునని యెహోవా సన్నిధిని పలికెను.

30. And Moses said before the LORD, "Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me?"

నిర్గామకాండము 7

1. కాగా యెహోవా మోషేతో ఇట్లనెనుఇదిగో నిన్ను ఫరోకు దేవునిగా నియమించితిని; నీ అన్న అహరోను నీకు ప్రవక్తగా నుండును.

1. And the LORD said unto Moses, "See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh, and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.

2. నేను నీ కాజ్ఞాపించునది యావత్తు నీవు పలుకవలెను. ఫరో తన దేశములోనుండి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను పోనియ్యవలెనని నీ అన్నయైన అహరోను అతనితో చెప్పును;

2. Thou shalt speak all that I command thee; and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land.

3. అయితే నేను ఫరో హృదయమును కఠినపరిచి, ఐగుప్తు దేశములో నా సూచక క్రియలను నా మహత్కార్యములను విస్తరింపచేసెదను.

3. And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply My signs and My wonders in the land of Egypt.

4. ఫరో మీ మాట వినడు గాని నేను నా చెయ్యి ఐగుప్తు మీద వేసి గొప్ప తీర్పులచేత నా సేనలను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులైన నా ప్రజలను ఐగుప్తు దేశములోనుండి వెలుపలికి రప్పించెదను.

4. But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay My hand upon Egypt and bring forth Mine armies and My people, the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.

5. నేను ఐగుప్తు మీద నా చెయ్యి చాపి ఇశ్రా యేలీయులను వారి మధ్యనుండి రప్పింపగానే నేను యెహోవానని ఐగుప్తీయులు తెలిసికొందురనెను.

5. And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch forth Mine hand upon Egypt and bring out the children of Israel from among them."

6. మోషే అహరోనులు యెహోవా తమకు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు చేసిరి, ఆలాగుననే చేసిరి.

6. And Moses and Aaron did as the LORD commanded them; so did they.

7. వారు ఫరోతో మాటలాడినప్పుడు మోషేకు ఎనుబదియేండ్లు, అహరోనుకు ఎనుబది మూడు ఏండ్లు.

7. And Moses was fourscore years old, and Aaron fourscore and three years old when they spoke unto Pharaoh.

8. మరియు యెహోవా మోషే అహరోనులతో ఇట్లనెనుఫరో మీ శక్తి చూపుటకై ఒక మహత్కార్యము కనుపరచుడని మీతో చెప్పునప్పుడు

8. And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

9. నీవు అహరోనును చూచినీ కఱ్ఱను పట్టుకొని ఫరో యెదుట దాని పడ వేయుమనుము; అది సర్పమగును.

9. "When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, `Show a miracle for yourselves,' then thou shalt say unto Aaron, `Take thy rod and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent.'"

10. కాబట్టి మోషే అహరోనులు ఫరో యొద్దకు వెళ్లి యెహోవా తమ కాజ్ఞా పించినట్లు చేసిరి. అహరోను ఫరో యెదుటను అతని సేవకుల యెదుటను తన కఱ్ఱను పడవేయగానే అది సర్ప మాయెను.

10. And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded; and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent.

11. అప్పుడు ఫరో తన విద్వాంసులను మంత్రజ్ఞులను పిలిపించెను. ఐగుప్తు శకునగాండ్రుకూడ తమ మంత్రములచేత ఆలాగే చేసిరి.

11. Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers. Now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.

12. వారిలో ప్రతివాడును తన కఱ్ఱను పడవేసినప్పుడు అది సర్పమాయెనుగాని అహ రోను కఱ్ఱ వారి కఱ్ఱలను మింగివేయగా

12. For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents; but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.

13. యెహోవా చెప్పినట్టు ఫరో హృదయము కఠినమాయెను గనుక అతడు వారి మాట వినకపోయెను.

13. And He hardened Pharaoh's heart, that he hearkened not unto them, as the LORD had said.

14. తరువాత యెహోవామోషేతో ఇట్లనెనుఫరో హృదయము కఠినమైనది, అతడు ఈ ప్రజలను పోనియ్యనొల్లడాయెను

14. And the LORD said unto Moses, "Pharaoh's heart is hardened; he refuseth to let the people go.

15. ప్రొద్దున నీవు ఫరో యొద్దకు వెళ్లుము, ఇదిగో అతడు ఏటిదరికి పోవును. నీవు అతనిని ఎదుర్కొనుటకు ఏటియొడ్డున నిలిచి పాముగా చేయబడిన కఱ్ఱను చేతపట్టుకొని

15. Get thee unto Pharaoh in the morning. Lo, he goeth out unto the water, and thou shalt stand by the river's brink until he come; and the rod which was turned to a serpent shalt thou take in thine hand.

16. అతని చూచి అరణ్యమందు నన్ను సేవించుటకై నా ప్రజలను పోనిమ్మని ఆజ్ఞాపించుటకుగాను హెబ్రీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా నన్ను నీ యొద్దకు పంపెను. నీవుఇదివరకు వినకపోతివి.

16. And thou shalt say unto him, `The LORD God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying, "Let My people go, that they may serve Me in the wilderness"; and behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear.

17. కాగా యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞ ఏదనగా నేను యెహోవానని దీనిబట్టి నీవు తెలిసి కొందువని యెహోవా చెప్పుచున్నాడు. ఇదిగో నా చేతిలోనున్న యీ కఱ్ఱతో నేను ఏటి నీటిని కొట్టుదును అది రక్తముగా మార్చబడును.

17. Thus saith the LORD: "In this thou shalt know that I am the LORD: Behold, I will smite with the rod that is in mine hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.

18. ఏటిలోని చేపలు చచ్చును, ఏరు కంపుకొట్టును, ఏటి నీళ్లు త్రాగుటకు ఐగుప్తీయులు అసహ్యపడుదురని చెప్పు మనెను.

18. And the fish that are in the river shall die, and the river shall stink; and the Egyptians shall loathe to drink of the water of the river."'"

19. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేతో ఇట్లనెనునీవు అహరోనుతోనీకఱ్ఱను పట్టుకొని ఐగుప్తు జలములమీద, అనగా వారి నదులమీదను వారి కాలువలమీదను, వారి చెరువుల మీదను, వారి నీటిగుంటలన్నిటి మీదను నీ చెయ్యి చాపుము; అవి రక్తమగును; ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను మ్రానుపాత్రలలోను రాతిపాత్రలలోను రక్తము ఉండునని అతనితో చెప్పుమనెను.

19. And the LORD spoke unto Moses, "Say unto Aaron, `Take thy rod and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood and in vessels of stone.'"

20. యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞా పించినట్లు మోషే అహరోనులు చేసిరి. అతడు ఫరో యెదుటను అతని సేవకుల యెదుటను తన కఱ్ఱను పైకెత్తి ఏటినీళ్లను కొట్టగా ఏటి నీళ్లన్నియు రక్తముగా మార్చబడెను.

20. And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.

21. And the fish that were in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.

22. And the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments; and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, neither did he hearken unto them, as the LORD had said.

23. జరిగిన దానిని మనస్సున పెట్టక ఫరో తిరిగి తన యింటికి వెళ్లెను.

23. And Pharaoh turned and went into his house, neither did he set his heart to this also.

24. అయితే ఐగుప్తీ యులందరు ఏటినీళ్లు త్రాగలేక త్రాగు నీళ్లకొరకు ఏటిప్రక్కలను త్రవ్విరి.

24. And all the Egyptians dug round about the river for water to drink, for they could not drink of the water of the river.

25. యెహోవా ఏటిని కొట్టి యేడు దినములైన

25. And seven days were fulfilled after the LORD had smitten the river.
